Our program blends the “anytime, anywhere” convenience of online instruction with the real-world experience of learning in a Southern Nevada healthcare facility. You join a community of students guided by faculty online and on-site in a flexible but daily-deadlines setting that sufficiently prepares you for a career in nursing.
Solving problems, saving lives
Choosing to be a nurse is a life changing experience. You help solve a problem, help people in need and help yourself. Nurses handle complex critical thinking, deliver the majority of patient care and perform life-saving efforts. As more and more baby boomers reach retirement age the need for nurses only increases.
In Nevada, according to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation, the occupation will grow by 37 percent with an annual growth rate of 3 percent through 2016. Nearly 5,500 new nurses will be needed state-wide as early as 2016.
Roseman’s ABSN increases the university’s enrollment capacity for nursing students which translates to no waiting for qualified prospective students who meet the program’s admission requirements.
